    A Match Made in Heaven

Here is my 630 with my grandpa's old 46A loader attached. It required some engineering, but it works quite well. Don't use it for much other than pushing snow and hauling a little firewood. Figured it was better than letting the loader get sold away and possibly end up scrapped. Has anyone...

    A Powerlift Serial Tag

Fair enough, but there is nothing else on that Powerlift unit. The tag may have come off, but then I am left with the question: What is the number that I am looking at? Would it be a casting date?

    Confused ebay seller...

The possibilities are endless. I have a very limited experience with old implements, but looking at it makes me think threshing machine. Probably not, but that's what comes to mind. I hope someone can help him out.

    A Powerlift Serial Tag

That is the Powerlift unit...I have looked that thing over six ways to Sunday and that is the only tag I have found.

    A Powerlift Serial Tag

A previous post concerning the age of my A led me to the serial tag on the Powerlift unit. My first impression was that it was not there. Further inspection leads me to think it is there, but the numbers don't match what I have been told. The picture is of the tag. Any opinions?

    A Drawbar

Well, win some, lose some, I guess. As you can see from the picture, the old girl has suffered some neglect. Saved it from a scrap yard back in September. I am hoping to have it up and running next summer. Anyway, thanks for the help. You have narrowed it down considerably and I appreciate it.

    A Drawbar

I can see where it was, but it appears to be gone. The rivet heads are still there, but all I can make out is 110. Looks like it was cast in as it is raised. Can't be the tag, I assume that would be stamped.

    A Drawbar

Found it last night, double checked it today. It looks to be 110.

Oh, thanks. I never realized there was a difference with the Power Lift vs. Power Trol. I thought they were the same, just different controls. Learn something new everyday! Thanks again!

    A Drawbar

Okay, there is what looks like a serial tag under the part number. It is hard to make out , but it looks like 110. Sound right or am I in the wrong ball park?

    Where exactly would it be?

    A Drawbar

It is a six speed. My next question is: What is a replicable hub? I am guessing it has an aluminum tag, probably why it wore out so bad. I have not really looked very close at it, couldn't say for sure.

    A Drawbar

My mistake on the years, didn't look back on the thread. Mine has the heavy angle frame. My dad has estimated it as a '45, but really that is just a guess. I'll see what I can do for a picture.
