    Governor spring

Does anyone have a part number or source for this spring, where the throttle rod attached to the governor arm? On a mf65 gas. It's number 19 on the diagram

    Cast iron repair question

I've installed it dry. It does thread in and seem to seat fine. I'll try it with some sealer and possibly jb weld the broken piece on.

    Cast iron repair question

There's still about 2/3 of the hole diameter intact. There probably 1-2 threads in the bottom left where the piece broke out. The sealing surface for the probe is intact.

    Cast iron repair question

There are threads on the broken piece. It's where the probe for the temp gauges threads in. I don't mind pulling the head if I have to

    Cast iron repair question

I broke this part of the head on my massey 65 with g176 continental gas engine when trying to change the temperature gauge. Anyone had any luck repairing something like this? I'm going to check with a local welder on Monday.

    Mf 65 hydraulic problem

Good to know. On the pump. All I'm finding is I guess the newer style pump with the filter. Is that interchangeable? And is there any real benefit to replacing vs rebuilding?

    Mf 65 hydraulic problem

I assumed there should be full pressure there but it barely runs out. It doesn't have any valve, just the plate on top. I plan to bring my hydraulic gauge from work tomorrow evening just to verify. I guess I'll be looking into replacing or rebuilding the pump, and probably the cylinder as well

    Mf 65 hydraulic problem

My 1959 mf65 I just bought and I'm going through to get working has a problem with the hydraulics. The 3 point will not raise.. well actually it will, but so slowly that its barely noticeable. The PTO seal was leaking and no oil in the rear end. I replaced the seal and filled with oil, and now...

    Mf65 Engine oil dipstick

It looks like the round cap section sits pretty flush with the block. If so, I can make something work with the measurements you gave

    Mf65 Engine oil dipstick

That's what I'm trying to figure out. I know what I've got is not correct. Does the original dipstick go into a tube in the block, or straight into the block?

    Mf65 Engine oil dipstick

Can anyone give me some pictures and measurements for the engine oil dipstick for a MF65 gas with continental engine. This tractor I bought has a threaded pipe with a pipe plug in it with a stick that doesn't look correct.

    Mf65 steering

Awesome. Thank you. I hadn't thought to move the boot. I'm going through this old tractor and saw that that joint wasn't seated all the way up. Threads looked good. Got it tightened down now.
