    Thank you. I may not understand these diagrams but they show the PS pump but not the PS hydraulic motor at the base of the steering column. The kits are for the pump. This is where I can t get the sakes techs to understandunless I am wrong and not getting it.

    Looks like the screen is slid into the outer grille and the that assembly bolted to the hood. That seems correct. Thanks to all for the replies.

    A tractor friend stopped over today to see my 871 and told me to that the front grille was not assembled correctly. I had the grey colored screen slide into the red outer grille and mounted to the hood. He said the screen lies behind the red front grille or in other words the red is placed...

    Sandblaster

    Yes. It worked well, or got the job done on a 1939 9N. The only issue I had was some minor clogging when some water would follow a hose into the media. Just had to be careful of that. Cut through old paint on the casting, hood and fenders. Better than chemical stripping or grinding it off.
