    I have a newly acquired Ford 4000 with a 4 speed transmission and a Sherman 3 speed. I believe it is a 1964 model. The serial number is: 4110 I-S 46512 What else does this serial no. mean?

    Larry, you are correct. It is not a 900. I believe it is a 981, serial no. 62147. It is a gold demonstrator model that someone repainted. I will have to work a little harder to figure out if the PTO will turn under a load. I will post what I find out. Thanks!
