    Load shaft shims

    What is the clearance between the load shaft bushing, and the lift arm bearing? My manual doesn't mention shims, but I see them for other tractors. I would think they should be fairly snug. Mowing in rough fields I hear the arms bouncing back and forth. any thoughts? Stan

    VR on W4

    Hello, where should the VR be mounted on a International Harvester W4 from 1951. On the generator or on the chassis. The VR on my tractor is gone so i have no idea where i have to mount it.

    Steering Wheel Play

    I tried rotating the hubs on my early 1948 (4 bolt) steering gear to take up the Play...but that didn't help. There is NO up and down play at the steering wheel shaft. The Sector shafts seem to be correctly connected. I'm baffled. I have put a lot into this restoration and I'm now ready to...

    massey harris 44 governor

    I was wondering if anyone knew the proper way to adjust the governor and to make sure it is working properly in a Massey Harris 44. I"m almost positive that is the problem I"m having because it runs awesome up until it starts to lug, and it sounds like the governor may no be opening up like it...
