    7400 swivel seat question

    My Dad wants to put a swivel on the mechanical seat in his 7400. The parts from Deere that might work are over $300. Is there a place to get one cheaper or a universal one? Thanks. L.

    435 Steering Joint

    My brother works at a driveline shop, and some one came to them with a steering joint for a 435 because it was loose and wanted it tightened up. Can you put a U joint in the yokes? how should this be repaired? Thanks.

    4020 oil filter cover cracked

    Had a 3020 that cracked the cover and dumped all of the oil, while using a stack wagon. Luckily Dad got it shut down soon enough to not hurt any thing, This was 20 years ago.

    3150 -air in fuel

    My brothers 4640 was doing that becaust the inlet in the tank was full of rust creating exessive vaccum in the lines. Worth looking at. Just stick a long magnet down there, if it comes back dirty its a problem.

    My 3020 dosent have down pressure and a post hole digger works fine on it, It just screws itself in to the gruound.

    42 GM governor inspection removal ?

    I have a 42 GM, it sounds like there is a lot of noise coming from the governor area. can I take the 3 bolts out of the cover above the flywheel with out a bunch of parts jumping out at me?

    Could I pull it together with ratchet straps? The fly wheel just kind of slides off when the bolts are loose. Thanks.

    Got out the GM for the first time today, Runs pretty good but the clutch lever bounces so bad it disengages. When I engage the clutch it moves the flywheel 1/4 inch to the left. I loosend the flywheel and tried to slide it on more and tried tighting the clutch adjusting bolts, niether seemed to...

    jd 3155 hyd

    Had a 3155 That lost hydraulics and kicked its self int 4WD when it got warm. Turns out all of the seals in the trans were leaking so bad it couldent build pressure. The thing was a turd.
