    59A loader and super 55 questions

    I bought a S55 with 59A loader. Tried to use it for smaller round bales, about 500 lbs. It lifted OK but front end is way too light. Great little loader for manure. John

    Thanks for the offer. I've got lots of friends and a great son who will help out. In auction will be S55, S66,S77,S88,77,770, 2-44LL, 1650, 1800C, 1955. All are complete and used regularly.90 year old neighbor is sending a S66 and 550. My son will be keeping my 550 and 1550.

    I got both of mine directly from Genessee Products via phone. I think the same products are available through this site but I couldn't find the Holly version listed today.

    I had that type problem with 1650 and 1550 with Holly dist. Worn/loose nylon plate where points mount. Parts unavailable. Easy and great fix was electronic ignition from Genessee Products which includes new mounting plate.

    I had that happen. Simple answer was I forgot to rehook the spring that holds the knotter down after having the knife arms tipped up. Hope its that easy.
