    massey 3545 oil leak

I have an early 3545 fwa massey that is leaking oil pretty badly from the housing that is between the transmission and engine. I took the inspection cover off the bottom and the oil looks to be coming down the front of the transmission and out a hole in the hydraulic clutch sleeve that moves...

    COCKSHUTT RC 770

Where was yours sold from originally?? This makes more sense as to why in your previous post you said that yours had oliver in the stampings. These are my two 63 models, both being original paint and original owner machines when I got them. Neither one has oliver on the fenders, or manifold...

    COCKSHUTT RC 770

Thank you for that info. I guess I need to contact the museum and find out more about mine as well. I have since found and purchased a second 1963 cockshutt 770 with the bar grill. Neither of mine have oliver stamped in the fenders though, they are just smooth. Very nice looking tractor!!

    Oliver 660s

Thank you for that information! I saw one of the Cockshutt 660 a couple of years ago, still in its original paint he claimed and looked like from a picture. Needed deep pockets to have owned it though. Do you have a picture of your Cockshutt?? You don?t happen to know how many 770s...

    cockshutt 20 deluxe info

Hi, I was wondering at what serial number the 20 deluxe was introduced?? I'm assuming that their serial numbers were just carried on after the 20's were done, or did they have there own numbers starting from 0 again?? I would like to get one, and would like to tell for 100% sure that it is a...

I just purchased a D12 and was wondering how many were made, and at what serial numbers the series changed and differences in the series?? This site says that 4070 were made, I have a book that says a little over 5000 were made, but looking at the serial numbers for the years made, assuming...

    W30 magneto

I am working on a w30 with a F4 mag and getting it running after sitting for a long time in a barn. The previous owners son got the mag rebuild a few years ago and was going to try and get it running himself, but lost interest. My father purchased this tractor this year and we now have it...

    Jd 60 misses at idle

I agree, check intake gasket that you are assuming is good and new. Might be just enough of a leak to notice at idle, but not enough at higher speeds. You have proven a lot of other possiblities for certain.

JD buff primer recoat wait time

The condtions that the paint is drying in makes a huge difference as well though. I live where there is lots of humidity and is very tough to get paint to dry within the recomendations, where as in the winter here with the heat on with dry air takes very little time, and usually get away with...
