    Case 541 I'm throttled

    Here is what I found.. The shaft is orientated with the hand throttle in the center position. The shaft I marked with an arrow will rotate when the hand throttle is worked but seems to have no effect on the carb. Any thoughts?

    Did you check the fuel filter spool? When they set they can get plugged up and will act like a no fuel situation.

    It's pretty straightforward. There are several different styles of seals that were used. You will know once you get it apart. John Saeli can assist. Here are some pictures of what mine looked like just to give you an ideal.

    Case 730 Carb Issue

    Check floats for holes. Had a set of brass that corroded holes in them . Also the whiskey in the gas now a days will eat the rubber tips off the metering valves.

    Hi Guys I finally replaced the rockshaft seals on my 530(541L) tractor. I neglected to take photos of the position of the arms when I took it apart. I am thinking that the rockshaft needs to be all the way down but what position should the arms be in? Right now I have them 1/4 turned down...

    OK pulled my 541L rockshaft..this is what I found

    When I took the plastic ring off (had to destroy it to get it off) there was an o-ring under it. I am baffled how they manufactured that unless the plastic was more pliable when it was new. Anyway, I don't think the oring mentioned above will work. It does not sit in the groove. The groove...
