    Glad you found most of what you need. Bearing for this model will be a challenge. After five months I have found all the bearings in the transmission and differential.

    It looks really good. Glad the battery worked out. I am still trying to find parts for the one I am working on. The first one I done 12 years ago I could get anything I needed. Boy, it different now.

    Pinion gear

    Need a good pinion gear for a 1948 model R. It is a seven tooth pinion gear and ten tooth spline on shaft. Have checked a number of Minneapolis salvage places with no luck. Hope someone here might have one.

    I read that an old 6 volt for VW bug is correct. I think it was group 19L but I am not po stive.

    Yonson, that info is correct. The problem, the reason for replacement is rust. The tractor is only going to be used for shows or parades, so the owner, my brother ,wants to polish the shafts and put new bearings in and call it good.

    Thank you yonson, if my measurements are accurate it is 2 1/2 inch. I will pursue the number you provide. If when, I finally get it out may have a number on it.

    Thank you montidale, for your reply. I have those manuals. The double race is driven out to the rear but the front side taper is flush with the case casting so I can’t get get a driver on it or even a punch.
