    my 560 does exactly the same thing. i believe its the ring gear on the flywheel.

    How do you tell H----M----MD

    H starter is in the center, M starter is off to the left side if your on the seat of tractor. An MD will/should have levers or brackets to switch it from gas to diesel, hope you found your answer.

    560 problems, HELP please.

    took manifold off. its all nice and clean no dirt or old gaskets. the air screw has to be almost all the way in for it to run. DECENT. sometimes will idel but it still dosend sound right.? carb fland and bottom of intake are wet. ?.

    steel flywheel.

    where can i get a steel flywheel for a farmall 560 with a 301?. it runs really good at about 4000 rpms. but not gonna till i get a steel flywheel. or would a scatter blanket be enough to hold it in?. thanks for any help or info!

    i have a question, i have a farmall 560 with a 301, i have 18.4-34s on it now, i spin right out, i found a newer set od firestone SATs almost new, 16.9-38 what would be better? the 18.4s are about 5-10% and like a field and road design, thanks!
