    Is there a source to buy small individual parts? I think it is the gear missing that engages the cable to the tach. The tach works off a drill attached to the cable but not the governor. I can something turning in the port. Thank you.

    52 8N governor gear or what drives the cable on the proof meter is worn it seems. The meter works and the cable looks good and drives meter off a small drill so it seems the problem is within the governor. The kits are not in stock. How do I start with this repair? Thanks.

    Gosh. I am impressed with all the response. I am a new 9N owner (duh, who would guess). Thanks so much. Another ?: How can I flush all the reservoirs of sludge?

    Can the holes in the bottom of the fluid resevoirs that have the cotter pins in them just be plugged up? What is the purpose of the holes. I can see the reason for the pins but not the hole to begin with
