Ford 950 with 3 post Solenoid

Thanks Harry in KY, I'm going by what The Ford manual had, it shows a 3 post, like the old 6 volt system. I've seen three other Ford with a 3 post that are 12 volt, but there are no numbers showing on those solenoids.

Ford 950 with 3 post Solenoid

Hi all, I bought this 1957 Ford 950, that had jumpers to make it run, because the 12 volt upgrade was never completed. I replaced the key switch, and a new safety natural start button, but it will not start by pushing the button. I believe the 3 post solenoid is for a positive ground tractor...

    M-4864-A oil for a 197 Ford 950

In trying to find a M-4864-A oil for my 950, it was difficult to find an 80wt mineral oil that had what it needed. TS had an oil but it was for Ford tractors between 1939 and 1952, and the Universal Tractor fluid was a 10w-30, the oil companies had 80wt mineral oil no GL rating. 80w-90 gear oil...

    PTO Shifter Shaft

Some pictures and videos of the inside, if you would let me know what you see on the spline 1 video is the coupler on the upper shaft 2 out of gear & lubed, but dirty splines 3 out of gear and brake cleaned shaft 4 in gear and brake cleaned again (looks like a crack in the top spline) 5 in...

    PTO Shifter Shaft

Isn't #12 located inside #1. There is a coupler that slides back and forth to the right of #13 & #14, that is not shown. #3 is connected to #2, and #2's curved end is in the slot of #1 and in the grove of #12 in #1 and slide back and forth, move the lever #15 which rotates #10.

    PTO Shifter Shaft

So there is no rust, it moves better with a bar, on either end. But the PTO lever cannot pull it out. On the splined shafts above, the collar slides back and forth, in my mind I believe that the PTO clutch #12 is hanging up. The bar on either end puts a strain on the shifter shaft, then once it...

    PTO Shifter Shaft

I bought a different Ford, it is a 950-4, but it has a row crop setup. The PTO lever would not move, I removed the PTO round cover off and found the shifter shaft would not move, or rotate. The splined shaft above it does freely, and so does the PYO shaft out the back. In using a bar I forced...

Hi, I'm looking a a Ford High Crop. The guy says it is an 800. The stamped numbers are; 9 5 1. 1 25469 can anyone tell me what the two rows of numbers mean, and what years it is.
