Thanks Harry in KY, I'm going by what The Ford manual had, it shows a 3 post, like the old 6 volt system. I've seen three other Ford with a 3 post that are 12 volt, but there are no numbers showing on those solenoids. -

M-4864-A oil for a 197 Ford 950
In trying to find a M-4864-A oil for my 950, it was difficult to find an 80wt mineral oil that had what it needed. TS had an oil but it was for Ford tractors between 1939 and 1952, and the Universal Tractor fluid was a 10w-30, the oil companies had 80wt mineral oil no GL rating. 80w-90 gear oil... -

Isn't #12 located inside #1. There is a coupler that slides back and forth to the right of #13 & #14, that is not shown. #3 is connected to #2, and #2's curved end is in the slot of #1 and in the grove of #12 in #1 and slide back and forth, move the lever #15 which rotates #10. -

So there is no rust, it moves better with a bar, on either end. But the PTO lever cannot pull it out.
