Installing C281 power unit motor in a M

Will a C281 motor from a power unit bolt right into a M? Concerned if there is any issues with crankshaft, flywheel, or whatever else I am not thinking of?

    LP Manifold

Anything wrong with LP manifold for Farmall M from Dennys Carb Shop. Seems to be the cheapest I could find. I know stay away but there probably all casted in the same place.

    Leroy

Previous owner of my M had the same thing happen, I found one of the teeth on the shaft had a big chunk out of it. Not much room for the balls to get out. Got to love putting those $100.00 bearings in.

    M transmission

Super M has a faster transmission. You can swap them back and forth, the pinion shafts should be the same. Just make sure you match the gears top and bottom. 3rd gear in super is a tad bit slower than 4th gear in a "M.

    Oliver Super 99

Had a guy tell me they heard someone was running over 200lbs, seems like a lot. I wanted to try around 100, but didn't know what the system could handle. Isn't there a built in relief valve that you would have to modify to raise the pressure?

How do you raise fuel pressure on a Oliver Super 99? And how much is to much?

    Freeburg IL Pull

Good pull, lots of spectators. But,please pull North to South next year. Better dirt on that end of track. If you rope off North end of track tractors could stage there.

    MW 9 speed

It will work, did it to mine. The hub on the band brake rotor is the same size outer diameter as the sleve on the disk brakes that slides on the bull pinion, so so as long as your seals are good you just swap parts. Those disk brakes are heavy.

    Freeburg Tractor Pull

Had lots of fun, been pulling there for years. The track was the best one I have seen there. Would be nice if you would change the 6500lb 6mph to a 6000lb class. I think you only had one hook in the 6500lb. You might get a few more to pull 6000lb. Going from 5500lb to 6500lb scares people...

    Oil Pump Gasket

Stupid question: do (internally-mounted) oil pumps require gaskets? Specifically on C200 gas engines?

    tire mounting on aluminum rims

easiest tires I ever mounted. The tire fell into place didn't even hardly need a bar. I had to put silicon on screws that I ran into the bead, very small leak there when I checked with soap water
