    Oil Line to Governer?

I've seen some posts up where running an oil line from the oil filter housing to the governer is mentioned. What is the purpose or advantage of this over the stock routing? My 9N still has the stock routing from the filter to the junction block on the back of the engine. Thanks, Rick
