Thanks Hobo, so what is involved with replacing the outer seals? Is there a procedure shown on YT?

    44 2N Axle/Bearing Assembly

Just pulled the 2N hubs off the 44 yesterday while cooking two birds. Found that the right wheel doesn't have any bearing. My assembly manual indicates that I need number 8 and 9 plus I'd like to add the sure seals. Am I right about that? Do I need anything else? Thanks, Rick

    841 Exhaust Studs

Thanks Fellas, I appreciate your help! When I started looking I went to the NH dealer and the parts guy looked it up and it said "Procure Locally". He had nothing to offer as to where I could get them. After I got your advice I checked online at NAPA and their online search is horrible. No...

    841 Exhaust Studs

Anybody have a good source to get these? The NH site says 7/16 14-20 and 1.78 in length. Can't find them anywhere yet. Anybody have a recommended bolt instead? Thanks Rick

    Nutha SOS GURU Question

My 881D tranny seems to work pretty well. Still haven't found the sweet spot to stop the pto from moving but that's not my question. Here's the question. It clearly comes equipped with the rear axle disengagement lever so that it won't mess up the tranny while towing. So I have this 3 pt...

    Farm Insurance

I'm new to rural farm ownership. I have a property that I use for recreational purposes and have built a couple barns to house my treasured old Ford Tractors. I live in suburban ATlanta and when I tell my story to my agent they seem to be like a deer in the headlights. This morning I...

Wow mister that is beautiful!!!! Would love to see her hang out with my 881-D. Love the red hood. Problem is that now I wanna redo my workin man 641-D. She's a little smoky so I know she's a bigger project than my others.

    I Have an illness

So my 841 broke down while bush hogging and while bringing her back in from the field I Shishkabobbed the radiator with the boom pole on the 641-D. Yeah yeah there were 20 things my wife and I coulda done to not make this happen but we were in hurry which is the kiss of death. So the 841 has...

    1841-s

Hey Jeff, I'd love to talk to you about your conversion. Wondering if you decided to go through Tony or Jackson Power Steering. Also I'd still be interested in trying to rebuild your old cylinder. I've tried mine and still have a little leak. Also interested in the tie rod ends on both ends...

First OT - Slaying Blackberries in the South

Got some much needed seat time with some bushhogging last weekend. Background: I cleared about 9 acres of hardwoods about two years ago and followed up with stump removal in our Georgia red clay soils. Going very native and natural with this property so my Dad and I planted about 8 acres of...

    Q for SOS PTO Gurus

I did look at my photos of the cover removal and I do see that I removed the cable as you suspected. When I turned the cable counterclockwise it does seem to thread appropriately into the cable retainer. I do seem to remember that I could stop the shaft rotation with my foot before the rebuild...

    Q for SOS PTO Gurus

IN my recent 881D project that seems nearly complete I seem to have hit a roadblock on the PTO. Here are some of my background/symptoms. It's been a while but I think the pto shaft did work to some degree before I started the rebuild. When the pto knob was pushed in it would slow the pto...
