Urgent help ford 3910
Thanks everyone for the replys. When wiring the starter up, and I think it is wired correctly, when connecting battery back up it is wanting to start. Could the solenoid by stuck? Could the key switch be bad? I tried a new switch and the same thing. Any advice is greatly appreciated. -

Ford 3910 injection pump?
I didn't tap on it to hard, but it is leaking badly now. Plan to replace the gasket for that cover. Thanks Dieseltech. Any tips on cover removal and repair. Plan on replacing the orings while I have the cover off. -

Ford 3910 injection pump?
So, tapped on the pump, the top cover. Tractor started, now my cover is leaking. Suspect my tapping dislodged the gasket and now I have to replace the gaasket. Better than having to replace the pump. Hopefully I can do it in place. -

Ford 3910 PTO clutch
It does have a slip clutch, but I can visually see the shaft stops turning on the PTO and I the sound from the PTO fades. Thanks for the suggestion. -

Thanks for the clarification. I will have to check this plug as well. I may be checking something different. I also need to check the flow knob just above this plug to make sure it is no on slow. -

Ford 3910 PTO clutch
I have always heard the oil in the differntial and tranny were the same and I use the level plug on the side under right foot board. I also checked the dipstick on the top plate of the tranny as well. -

Thought the same thing on the fluid level. Took the plug out on the side and oil was flowing pretty good. Where is the pump at, under the seat? I know it isn't on the side of the engine. Any good documentation on refurbishing the valves, valve body. The hydraulics are very sluggish and very slow... -

I have a 3910 that the PTO will mow fine, then will stop mowing, then pickup again. I suspect it may be issue with PTO clutch. Are these separate from the engine/transmission clutch? I have checked fluid, seems over full. -
