Steering seals gone on 555B backhoe

I have a 1986 Ford 555B backhoe and the power steering fuild is leaking out faster than I can put it in. Like a quart an hour. Question is what should I expect to pay to have the cylinders rebuilt and how tough a job is it?

chop saw or circular saw for metal

I did some more cutting today with both saws. The Circular saw with a metal blade is best, the metal cut off saw is OK for thin wall tubing, but forget it on anything over 12 gauge. I used the cut off saw to score the 45 degree cuts, but then finished them off with the circular saw. Can't...

chop saw or circular saw for metal

Guys, I tried to cut 1/8 inch diamond plate with my 14 inch 2HP cutoff say and it would not go. I then put a metal cutting blade in my skilsaw and it went right through. What gives? Hydraulic fitting on Ford 555B backhoe

Well, was having a good old time digging with the 555 and the fitting on the stabilizer tore out. It is an ORB and now with the treads messed up on the cylinder, can I tap it out for 1/2 pipe thread? If I can't restore the cylinder threads, its gonna be ugly. Help!

    Ford 555B alternator rewiring

Well, based on a posting here, I am going to replace my alternator with a Delco 10si. Does anyone know what I need to do to bypass the voltage regulator? I know the 10si has one in it and I need to go around the one in the battery box. Thanks!

    Water in tires?

I just did the front tires on my Ford backhoe with Windshield Washer Fluid. Cost me 66 bucks for the fluid, 50 bucks for the pump (which I can use again) and less than 10 bucks for the adapter.
