Hi, Yes the levers are for the 2-way plow that was on the tractor that I haven't gotten cleaned up yet. I will keep the exhaust. The piece on the manifold was there and I found the front piece and put on to keep any sparks pointed out the door rather than into the cobwebs and etc into the...

Hi, I have a 40 B that I did just that. The bottom part was still in tact under the hood. I bought a new stack from one of the venders. I cleaned the socket part around the outside edge along with removing the paint at the bottom of the stack. I lathered the JB around the stack bottom and...

40 B rear rim and tire removal

Thanks Old Popper The method that you gave me was more than helpful. It didn't go all that bad in fact a lot better than I envisioned. Next question is how do you position everything to put them back on the cast wheels and not get the nice newly painted rims and wheels all scarfed up. Looks...

40 B rear rim and tire removal

Looking for information on removal of rear tires and rims. My 40 B rims are mounted with the rim clamps mounted to the cast wheels to inside. I assume there is an easier method of trying to remove the rims out over the cast wheels. I usually work alone, is this a manhandling task that needs a...

    40 B holes in casing

I have a 40 B and found a hole, on each side, on the top of the rear end housing that is about an inch in from the brake unit mounting flange. What is the purpose of these holes that seem to go nowhere. If they are oiler holes, what do they oil? Thanks, Sam in central PA
