    What You will have there is Likely a PTO Delete Tractor which will have a Short Hydraulic Pump Drive Shaft. Carries a Part Number of 1KA2041. Have only ever seen one other equipped as such in a Wrecking Yard.

    As others have Stated, the Entire Hitch is Formed/Fabricated Steel. Grind Out the Entire Original Weld with a bit of a "V" Groove for added measure and Weld away. You need not concern Yourself with Preheating either.
