    Personally, I would add an external Hydraulic Reservoir if You wish to retain that Belt Drive Setup on the Tractor, and get some 80W-90 back in Transmission/Differential. The main concern being that perhaps the Transmission Gears might be deprived of the Oil Bath Lubrication. Hard to know what...

    What You will have there is Likely a PTO Delete Tractor which will have a Short Hydraulic Pump Drive Shaft. Carries a Part Number of 1KA2041. Have only ever seen one other equipped as such in a Wrecking Yard.

    Do You have the Tubes that encase the Wires from the Inside Edge of the Differential Cover down to the Axle Carriers? Can send Pics if You Need as the "Standards" are My Niche.

    As others have Stated, the Entire Hitch is Formed/Fabricated Steel. Grind Out the Entire Original Weld with a bit of a "V" Groove for added measure and Weld away. You need not concern Yourself with Preheating either.
