    replacing rear main seal 3 cyl 4400

    i have seen people install a variety of things with the seal to act as a spacer to change the location of the sealing surface if the crank has a wear mark on it. it just puts the sealing lip in a different place on the crank.

    i have a 1967 ford 3400 with a ford 730 loader,it drives off the crank,and has a vickers vain pump on it,but i have never heard of a superior bucket.

    those bushings need to be honed on a sunnen honing machine with a long mandrel that hones both bushings at once to keep them parallel with each other,you will be there all day with a brake hone and they wont be in line with each other.

    just tool the steering control valve apart,8 check valves,4 springs,all to be in good shape,only thing i noticed was the large nut was not staked in place,other than that everything looks good,anyone got any suggestions about what i should look for next,no power steering at all.thanks

    today i did some testing on the power steering pump,hooked up a gauge and cranked the tractor,gave a slight bit of throttle and the gauge shot instantly to well over a 10000 lbs.,i immediatly shut the tractor down,i am baffled because it,s only suppose to have 650 lbs. of pressure, but yet i...

    i have a badly worn lower bushing on my john deere 310a backhoe pivot,can anyone give me any advice on how to remove the backhoe to gain access to these bushings,any advice would be greatly appreciated,Sbarrett
