Or if you are not comfy with a carb or do not have the time, find someone who handles em to do it for you. A carb is a carb is a carb and there is even a super step by step you can have the person too for any of the specifics of this tractor's carb. Def get the kit too if you are not sure when...

    tractor starts then stalls

Mine was the same way very recently. My carb actually was cleaned in the spring, it ran perfectly til it ran out of gas and I refilled it. It runs rough, ready to stall. A bit better with some choke, but you could not get it past a quarter throttle. Sediment has some stuff in it, wire screen...

    9n Starving for gas

In cleaning did you run wire or and compressed air through the nozzles? I actually had issues with my cab after insuring it was getting the gas. The carb looked perfectly clean but after insuring no blockages using very thin wire and alot of compressed air the machine worked like a charm...

    9n Stalling issue

Well it is all happy! In the end I caved due to lack of tools and brought the carb to a local guy who works on older tractors. 20m of cleaning from him and me reinstalling it, the tractor runs like a charm! It must have been a clogged jet of some kind as the carb itself was rather clean...

    9n Stalling issue

I got a chance to unscrew the bottom screw. After a bit of a initial gush it seemed to keep a good production rate, I dare say what would look to be appropriate for the tube. I have not had a chance yet to remove the cab and start to take it apart though. -Scott

    9n Stalling issue

I really wish I was not so unknowledable about tractors and engines... My 9n is constantly stalling after it ran out of gas while bush hogging. It tries to start ok, but never got past a rough idle. If you pulled on the choke it was happier, but eventually would run with that 'gunna stall...

    77 Belt Pulley Question

I'm trying to finish up some minor details on my 1952 77 so I can head to the Iowa State Fair on Tuesday for the FFA restoration class. I know this question has been asked and answered on here but I couldn't find it. What size and length of bolts need to be used to attach the belt pulley...
