9n Stalling issue

I really wish I was not so unknowledable about tractors and engines...
My 9n is constantly stalling after it ran out of gas while bush hogging. It tries to start ok, but never got past a rough idle. If you pulled on the choke it was happier, but eventually would run with that 'gunna stall real soon' feeling. You can't get it past like 1/4 throttle without it stalling for sure. I checked the sediment bowl and it has some sediment on the bottom though the wire mesh screen seemed pretty clean. I also added some gumout fuel additive but with no affect. I was bush hogging for like an hour with no engine issue...any thoughts what I should check next?

I did take a small video from my camera of starting (yes, a lil inept trying to manage choke, ignition and camera) in case the audible sounds help...

I would remove the plug on the bottom of the carb and see what kind of fuel flow you have. It should fill a pint jar in 2 to 3 minutes. If not one of the three screens may be plugged or the stand pipe in the tank inside the screen may be plugged.

Drain the gas, remove the gas line, remove the gas cutoff, clean the filter.Remove the elbow at carb, clean it, remove the carb and clean the bowl, and float needle.Put it all back together, using indian head gasket sealer or something similar. Then put in at least 2 gals of gas.open bolt at bottom of carb to assure that you have good flow[a quart in a couple mins is real good].good luck and post back.---lha

I got a chance to unscrew the bottom screw. After a bit of a initial gush it seemed to keep a good production rate, I dare say what would look to be appropriate for the tube. I have not had a chance yet to remove the cab and start to take it apart though.

Wow, buried already.
Nothing so far seemed to work so I am going to bite the bullet and clean it out; luckily I saw a recent post with a detailed cleaning of the very same carb! Already ordered the carb kit form yt, got my bucket of flesh eating carb cleaner, so now just need the knick knacks and some time!

Well it is all happy!
In the end I caved due to lack of tools and brought the carb to a local guy who works on older tractors. 20m of cleaning from him and me reinstalling it, the tractor runs like a charm! It must have been a clogged jet of some kind as the carb itself was rather clean.
