    1962 IH 340 utility hydrolics

    Any ideas on how you would eliminate this system? With the piece broken I can use my lift control arm to raid and lower implements but sometimes I still need to press down on the broken piece to get the implement to fully lower?

    How should the alternator be wired on this tractor? Currently it looks like only 2 wires a plug on top and a wife off of a terminal in the center of the alternator both run directly under the dash? Nothing to the battery? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

    How do you eliminate the system? Just disconnect the piece from the hydrolics cylander?

    Is anyone hear familiar with the 3 point hitch system IH started putting in these tractors replacing the fast hitch? On my 3 point I've got one pin that when removed the whole 3 point will move left and right and another pin if removed will allow the lift arms to move up and down maybe 30...

    1962 ih 340u gas/hydraulic drain plugs

    ok thanks, it looks like I've got some water somewhere in the hydro fluid it's leaking milky white around the cylinder for the 3 point. After I drain and change filter should I take any of the inspection plates off to look inside? Or just refill and go?
