    Farmall M

    I don't know about your casting number,but your disc brakes are likely Ausco-Lambert. I have them on a 1950 M. Clean the rust off of them once in a while and they work well, although, not as well as the original band brakes.

    Anyone heard of multi track tires?

    Ben Tire is the supplier for Neal Tire. Check with a Neal store as they handled Multi-Trac tires. Multi-Trac used to be made by Kelly-Springfield.Good luck.

    706 won't move

    I bought a 706 a few years ago that would not move. The owner was sure that the TA was out. I bought it, tapped the dump valve with a hammer, it went back in and worked fine.

    I have one of these engines,it came off of a no. 55 IH baler. It does have an IH mag and the carberator looks to be the same as a Zenith from an A Farmall. Haven"t gotten it running yet.

    O/T Chicken feed

    We grind our corn with a Letz burr mill, then mix in poultry base from the local feed supply at a ratio of 50lbs. to 200lbs. of ground corn. Our hens lay well and seem content.

    IH 1066 won't move

    Check your ta dump valve in the multiple control valve on the left side behind the clutch housing. I bought a 706 once that the owner was sure the ta was toast asit would not move at all. After paying for it,I tapped the dump valve with a hammer,it went in and the tractor worked fine.

    tires

    No mistake on the size. Even measured the inside of the bead, which was 33 inches. Also, the beads are about 21/2" wide where they fit on the rim. I worked in a tire shop for ten years and repaired or changed tires on just about anything agriculteral and have never seen anything like these.
