    1939 JD B clutch

    My 1939 B clutch was slipping plowing last year.I decided to put in new clutch facings.After taking apart it is wet around the crankshaft and pulley.I do not see any seals on crankshaft.Looks like oil made clutch slip.Where is it comming from?

    What should I use for power steering fluid in my 720 diesel?I do not know what is in it now.Owners manual says to see your JD dealer.

    pony engine gas fittings

    Would like to know if i should use a thread sealant on the brass elbow and shut off going into the carb on the pony engine.When I took apart there was no evidance off any sealant on them.Carb was rebuilt so inlet threads nice and clean.

    International 284 brakes

    The brakes on the tractor have not worked for along time.The left side brake pedal moves very easy,no pressure.Now when you drive the tractor the left side brake is locking up.You can drive for awhile then it will slowing start to drag then lock up.Let it sit alittle bit,it will release and go...

    720 diesel clutch driver bolt

    Replacing clutch and I can"t get the clutch driver bolt off the crankshaft.I tried the air gun,3/4 breaker bar, the engine wants to turn over.I also tried a hammer and chisel but the bolt will not move.Tring to soak it with PB Blaster now.Does the bolt loosen counter clockwise or clockwise?

    720 diesel Shifter

    I Think the Shifter poped up out of the rail?The shifter handle spins and there is no pressure on the shifter spring on the handle.Just want to make sure thats what happened.

    I should have said the gear shifter will not go go down far enough to slide over into 5,6,3 gear.Tractor feels like it goes into 1,2,4,R but does not move when in gear.
