Belt pulley reseal. Making a temporary block off plate. (Farmall Super M )

Mike, More than likely the bearings will be in bad shape. If you haven’t serviced the flat belt shaft before, it is one of those jobs where you have to press off bearings in order to get at the seal. So hopefully you have, or have access to a press.

    Farmall C

I have had my best luck buying new old stock filters from online sellers such as ebay. Too much poor quality with new products.

Need GOOD spark plug wires to use with Pertronix electronic ignition (Farmall Super M)

I buy all my wires from Brillman. Made in USA and sold by someone you can talk to if you have any questions or issues.

    Can I brag??

All of my Pertronix conversations have been very successful. Some say that they have had them fail, but not me. All of them start immediately. Careful, they will start in gear.

    International 340 Hydraulic Filter?

Mine has some sort of orbital valve below the gauge panel on the steering wheel shaft. “Currently leaking” The lines from the valve run to these strange pistons on the sides which push forward to steer the front wheels individually, like most utility steering designs. It doesn’t really work that...

I do it the same way. Put it in a bucket of gasoline, slosh, soak, slosh. Blow it out.

    '41 Farmall M Hydraulics

I do not recommend moving the return line from the bottom drain to the fill. It will cause the fluid to foam. The reason the line is routed to the drain is to force the return fluid into the reservoir fluid with no air present to aspirate. If you route the return fluid into the fill tube it will...

Over 100+ restored and running Farmalls for sale.

I just took a look at that auction listing. Wow…that’s a lot of Farmalls.

    400 hydraulic line leaking

I have seen several of those same Farmall hyd. blocks brazed. I agree with Cushman braze it.

Oil drain plug on engine side.

I don’t know the size off hand, but it will be a common taper thread pipe type thread. I often use brass replacement plugs to prevent seizing, also brass is a softer metal and will likely seal more reliably when used hold oil.

Farmall A rear axle outer bearing removal ?

I don’t recommend heating it. Use a bearing puller plate behind the retainer to press off the bearing with a press. The retainer will push off the bearing with the retainer, seal, bearing all together.

Farmall A rear axle outer bearing removal ?

If you are referring to the axle shaft bearing and seal, then the only way to change them is to remove the entire lower shaft. Then press the bearing and bearing retainer/seal plate off the shaft. You will basically be disassembling the entire final drive, so I recommend some detailed...
