    Decal

Anyone know where I can get a single decal for my '57 641? The decal that goes on the rear differential below the top link bracket fell off during my last tractor show. I really don't want to have to purchase a whole set for just the single decal.

How to transport a Compact Tractor.

I would be interested in knowing the total weight of your tractor and box blade. I want to trailer my '57 Ford Workmaster a few miles to a tractor show and I have a very similar trailer. My axle is rated at 3500 lbs. so I am just under the rating with a tractor weight of around 3300 lbs.

    Side Panel to Hood Bumper

I received an answer on a Ford tractor Facebook group. Looks like it fits onto the seam/flange at the top of the downlegs. I've ordered two new ones but not looking forward to pulling the side panels off again to install. Got my wonderful daughter to install graphics the other day. She also...

    Side Panel to Hood Bumper

Would someone please reply with a picture of this part installed? I know in the description it says in front of the side panel and hood but I need a picture. Ford 641 Workmaster.

Help Identifying a two spool top cover remote Hydraulic valve.

NPT is ok, just no cast fittings. They are not rated for hydraulic pressure. NPT fittings made of steel and rated for hydraulic pressures are fine. In fact, the input/output porting on my remote valve is NPT.

Help Identifying a two spool top cover remote Hydraulic valve.

Don't know the manufacturer but please don't use the cast npt fittings currently in place. My aftermarket remote has not been made for many years. I carefully disassembled it, cleaned everything, replaced the o-rings and all is good. Yours looks more modern. Good luck!

1957 Work Master Side Panel Mounting Holes

Yeah....do I feel stupid. Always thought the hood hinges were the same. Obviously the front one will be shallower and of course I had them flipped. I hope this helps someone else out in the future. I did find another post from another guy restoring his grandfather's 601. Thanks to everyone who...

1957 Work Master Side Panel Mounting Holes

So I didn't record the correct mounting holes for the side panels when I took the tractor apart many years ago. Anyway, began final assembly with the bottom dog leg mounting hole fitted to the bottom hole in the radiator support. Steering box sheet metal cover fitted to the lower mounting holes...

54 Ford NAA spraying hydraulic fluid

Aside from the leak, make absolutely sure you didn't get fluid injected into your leg. Hydraulic fluid injection can be very very bad, usually ending in amputation. Good luck sealing up the leak.

    641 Bodywork Hardware Question

20 plus years since the bodywork has been in place on this 1957 Workmaster. Do these holes just get a sheet metal screw to hold these pieces in place?

    Final Paint Advice

The first pic shows the run or mottled area. It has settled out a bit after drying. I'm thinking it will wet sand out but I'm not touching it for a week or so. The panels were sand blasted initially, immediately primed, sanded flat and then primed with a high build primer.

    Final Paint Advice

I agree, it was too hot. I did wait until late afternoon before painting again. Turned out much better except for the run, ugh! I'm gonna let it dry/cure for a couple weeks before any attempts at wet sanding out the run and any orange peel. Gonna have to be happy with it this time. I hate...

    Final Paint Advice

A friend of mine who use to paint cars for a living, said I needed to add some "retarder" to the paint mix so it would flow out. I haven't heard of retarder for paint. I know a hardener can be added but I don't have an air supplied respirator and even though I'm painting outside, I don't feel...

    Final Paint Advice

I painted the individual pieces flat, laid out on tables. Unfortunately, I guess I didn't reduce the paint enough as I ended up with significant orange peel. Coverage was good so I guess my first time wasn't a complete failure. I'm gonna let it cure completely try some wet sanding and then maybe...

    Trailer Plug Mounting Location

Thanks! Yeah that seat will have to go. I want to build a double wide seat so I can safely give grandkids a ride. I've seen them on the web but I believe I can make one myself. I want it to look period correct and it will have to have some struts running down to the differential center. I'll...
