    Video discs, older vs. newer

You didn't mention the OS you're using. If you download from the Microsoft "Store" you'll be fairly safe. MS does have an extension named "MPEG-2 Video Extension" but I normally used VLC (Video Lan Client) and it's listed on the MS Store and FREE.

    Furnace

When the HVAC tech was here, yesterday, I ask about the change in refrigerant. He said it's changing to a propane base with a detergent add to suppress combustion. It's supposed to be more efficient.

    tv antenna

believe you're referring to WHBF in Rock Island. I personally believe they made a mistake when they chose to stay on vhf channel 4 instead of moving to uhf like chs. 6 and 8 did. Ch 4 had problems even covering the QC area using low band. I believe they run a low power repeater on uhf to even...

    Off grid power

Ten or so years ago Hyperion and Toshiba announced backyard (home) nuclear power. The units were totally safe and needed recharged every 10 years. Just stick it in the ground and you had electricity and hot water. Big money didn't want the competition and people are afraid of nuclear. I...

I had a CJ5 that I used for planting with my 4 row JD planter. Once I planted sweet corn on July 4th, it was about an acre that had washed out the previous planting, and I had a great crop in October. I also had a snow plow on the front.
