    According to Norm Swinford's book "History of Allis Chalmers Farm Equipment, this tractor was made in France under contract with AC from 1970-1973. Due to this fact and the limited production, parts are sometimes hard to find and pricey. Lots more information on the Allis Chalmers Forum website.

    Old Briggs and Straton engine model ?

    Check the sheet metal cowl that covers the flywheel for a series of numbers and letters. You might have to lightly sand the area to see the numbers stamped into the metal. The information that you are looking for is probably coded within this ID.

    You might try Minneapolis Moline Farm Equipment by Peterson and Beemer. I found it at the local library. Has a serial number list in the back of the book.
