I just got a Sears SS15 tractor and could use a service manual for it. It looks like a great little tractor and has a creeper gear in it too.

Sorry, I can't help you with the manual, but the Suburban series were some of the best lawn and garden tractors ever built. I had a SS 12 with implements. I put anti freeze in the rear tires and chains, put about 50 lb. weight on the front and she would pull that little plow like nobody's business. Good luck with yours.

First thing goto www.searspartsdirect.com and see if manual still avail,if not goto ebay & search sears tractor manual,go thru listings & see if any match your tractor or try a goggle search for sears ss16+manual.

The "15" designation indicates a 15 HP engine. In other words, the SS12 was 12 HP, the SS15 was 15 HP, etc. The SS indicated "Sears Suburban".

I have a ss 15 I bought new. still runs good.I have all the owners manuals.as well as a parts breakdown for the engine and all the tractor parts. the owners manual ststes the SS stands for super suburban.Theese are the original manuals that came with the tractor.
