    Case 2470 powershift issues

    If you have pressure at the C3 port in low that is the problem. Check the C3 pilot spool again to be sure it is free. If it is free you may have a gasket under the valve that is allowing pressure to leak into the C3 clutch. The next place would be the oil distributer for the C2 C3 clutch packs...

    It could be the torque limiter. The torque limiter is bolted to flywheel. It will have to be split to be replaced. If the hub broke free of the disc that would be the noise that was heard. Stan

    1970 case 1090 power shift hyd.issues

    Try lifting the bale in each powershift gear. If it will pickup the bale in 2 or 3 the hydraulics are OK. The powershift will need to repaired. The 1090 will need to be split and the top trany cover will have to come off. The powershift repair will require some special tools

    Years ago M and W made Powrseal sleeves and pistons for diesel tractors. I would like to find some NOS for a 1030 930 and a 970. If anybody has aline on these please let me know. Do not confuse these with Sealed Power sleeves and pistons. they are a different company. Thanks Stan
