    1969 C30

It has some rust, bottom of the doors, rocker panels, right above the windshield. Mechanically it is pretty solid, needs a carburetor. Trying to figure out if I should fix the rust and paint it, or leave it as is and put the flat bed on it and some lights and sell it.

1969 c30 i bought recently, 350 with 4 speed manual. Runs good. I need to put the flat bed and a front bumper on it. I also have a front axle with power steering that’ll probably go in.we’ll see if I keep it or sell it after that…

    Deere 6068T injection pump

I was told that the Motorpal pump was a Bosch A pump clone, though maybe it would bolt right up. If I can get the hp out of the Motorpal pump I’ll probably get it redone, I was told it was hard to find parts for that pump. That’s why I was thinking about switching to Bosch. Thanks for your help...

    Deere 6068T injection pump

I wonder if i should swap it out for a Bosch A pump. Would that be a better option? If so which model pump would I need to get the hp im wanting? Or are all the A pumps built exactly the same? Thanks!

    Deere 6068T injection pump

Hello, I have a 2001 6.8 deere diesel I’m looking to build for more hp. Cam and head work, turbo and of course the injection pump, it has a Motorpal inline pump. I’m told they are pretty much a Bosch A pump, will they switch right out? Can I put a P pump on it? Looking for about 500 hp without...

    6.8 powertech injection pump

Hey all, I have a 6.8 liter deere diesel I’m looking to build to put in a truck, bigger turbo, ceramic coated pistons, hopefully marine cam, head work and of course injection pump. I’m hoping for around 500 hp without too much smoke, it has a motor pal in-line injection pump on it. Can this pump...

    Carb rebuild

Also if I rebuild or get rebuilt my distributor, should I do anything to the advance mechanism or anything else to make more hp? Thanks!

    Carb rebuild

Thanks for the replies! If I put 730 jets in, will it make enough horsepower to make up for the extra fuel it burns? I have two carburetors, one I rebuilt and the other was supposed to be professionally done that had sat for a while on my parts tractor before I bought it, the throttle shaft was...

    Carb rebuild

Thanks for the reply. I actually tried completely rebuilding it, bought a total rebuild kit from Steiner and slid it in there, tractor ran ok but I think the float was stuck. It wud die in a few seconds. That got fixed but the left idle screw had to be turned ALL the way in for it not to smoke...

    John Deere 620 running weird

I pulled the oil bowl off the air cleaner and it made no difference, with the old carb the left idle screw had to be seated for it not to smoke, also the mechanic shop told me they should be able to turn the single load screw out and it should sputter, it would not sputter so they told me about...

    John Deere 620 running weird

If I turned the single load screw on the bottom out does that affect the idle? Also if I mess with the 2 other carb adjustments I can get it to idle right sometimes for a little bit, but it goes back to missing very quickly, sounds like it only fires half as often as it should at an idle, it...

    John Deere 620 running weird

Ok, I have fresh non ethanol 89 octane gas in a new tank in the tractor, I added some 2 stroke oil mix to the gas, new sediment bowl and an inline fuel filter between that and the carb, I thought about the possibility of water in the gas, will sea foam help that?
