Super H and NH 66 baler

Here is my .02. Old wisconsins have ALOT of crankcase pressure. Remove and vent the plug under the mag. You may find the inside of the mag loaded with oil residue. It works its way in to the coil and internally shorts it when hot due to high crankcase pressure. Stumpy

'49 Farmall H Restoration Complete. Pics.

What a nice transformation! Looking good! I noticed the cylinders and hardware did not go back on for the plows. Are you going to use them? If not I have been on the hunt for some to complete my plow setup. Drop me an email if you decide to part with them. Thanks, Stumpy

Look at it this way, you didn't have to torch the hood out or remove the steering rod to get the muffler off! LOL! Stumpy

    Where to buy?

Drive the roll pin out the other side. Remove the ORC from the tractor. Take it apart by removing the internal clip. Drill the stripped hole out and tap it to 5/16 fine thread. Cut a bolt short so that it won't drag on the inner portion of the ORC. Reinstall the inner and outer portins, put it...

    Hauling M tractor

My M with one set of weights, loaded rears, 3 point and wide front weighed in at 6,645lbs at the county fair last fall. Money well spent for pro hauler to get it home to you. my .02 Stumpy

Down pressure on my new Saginaw 3 point?

If your hitch is like the one on my M it will have pins through the upper lift arms. If you remove them the hitch will float. This is a good way of acheiving position control. When you have the pins in place you will have down pressure. I have found the original Lift All valve is terrible in...

    1936 Farmall F12

That is a nice looking tractor. I just bought one that the serial number shows to be a '35. The rears on mine are round spoke F&H with a set of F&H weights. A single front. It is not running, but is loose, has compression. The block was repaired on the left side. It was a $250 tractor. I think...

    No throttle response on A

Hey guys, I am working on an A for my little girl for Christmas. I just got it running, but have no response from the trottle handle. If I pull the rod from the gov. to the carb it will rev and the gov will pull the rod back to idle crisply. Any ideas? Thanks Stumpy

Are you in NH? Was that tractor in Dublin this summer? The rear duals look very much like one I saw there. Stumpy

    46 Baler Works, Sort of

Great, I just came in from toiling away on a model 45 that was given to me. I have the Wisconsin running and all the parts are turning. I need to fab up a good gas tank and buy some twine to give it a test run. I would be thrilled with 80% on this baler. LOL! Stumpy

    RPRU 2012 ?

    >>>>Don't think I will live long enough to see a New England show. <<<<< Hopefully Chapter 18s' show in Dublin will as good or better than last years. I have my new to me M in the garage getting ready for paint. Hope I can get it all back together and have it there to play with :) Stumpy

    611B fluids

Happy Father's Day to all, I have ordered an I&T manual for this tractor and am looking for an operator's manual...until then I have a few questions. The converter guage for the case o matic was un hooked under the sheetmetal. Looks like the tube had broken. At some point a pipe plug was...

    Case o matic grinds

Good evening fellas, I have been looking through the archives to learn about my 611B Case O Matic. It will grind while trying to put it in gear. I have read that it may be due to the wrong fluid in the converter. I think the proper fluid is TCH or dextron III. Any ideas on fluid capacities...
