    I have trouble with the power director on my 185. Somtimes when I let out the clutch the tractor just sits there. The pedal returns but I'm not moving.If I push the pedal back in and move the power director lever up and down away it goes. Of coarse when you try to make it do it it never will...

    Your missing something simple here. It's not that complicated of a system. You should have 12 volts from yor key switch to the positive side of the coil. You will only have current from the coil to the dist when the points are closed. Either your points are out of adjustment or your condensor is...

    Leaking manifold bolts

    I had the same problem on my 51 B. Bolts didn't work for me. I ended up putting studs back in it. Even then it leaked I ended up putting fluid weld on the threads and used K&W BLOCK SEAL to heal it up.

    Thanks Derrol, I forgot to mention earlier That I have put in a new throttle shaft and throttle door. The new shaft was to tight so I reemed the carb body to fit.

    I have a 1816B Case skidloader with a 16 HP Tecumseh engine in it.It will only idle if the choke is half out. It acts like it needs more gas, but it runs great under full load with no choke. When it idles it lope's and surges wildly without any choke. I have had the carb apart 4 times. All...
