    Any way to seal a carb bowl with porosity?

    Yes, clean the inside then 2-part epoxy inside the bowl. It will last for years. You can do the outside, if the inside has vents or jets

    Oliver 550 (58) governor issue

    You already have good advice from others, not sure where you are located, I have two good working trans. No longer have the tractor, if you need them let me know. Several things can lead to your problem, with manual start at the front splines and work your way back.

    Rock Tumbers

    Used the thimbler for years, works great. Wished I would of purchased a smaller one. Lortune works as well. That post from the Lapidary shop sounds like a good person to talk with.

    FORD---- OLIVER

    Ive had both, still have the 550. Have to say the 0liver is better engineered, but both good tractors. The 550 has great torc, independent pro. And is a pleasure to operate.

    Replacement rims
