    Jubilee update

    Multimeter shows 6.38 volts at the battery. Drops to 5.8 while cranking. Weak spark at the points. No spark at the plugs. + post on the coil shows open loop while cranking. Not sure if it is suppose to do that. Once again jumped starter with 12 volt jump box and fired right up.

    For some reason it didn't post my reply. Try it again. I have noticed that it floods rather easy. I've had a carb kit hanging in the shop for years. May be time to use it.

    No resisters that I know of. Still leaning toward an electrical problem. Tractor runs great. The problem is just getting it to start the first time,after that it's fine.

    It cranks good all of the time.Just won't start the first time I try to start it. Once it is started the first time it will start the rest of the day.Then next day samething.The spark at the points doesn't look real strong to me.
