    I have some Detroit diesel tool I would need to sell I have 9 timeing pins couple wrenches and fealer gauges and the gauge for the gaping the gov and line socket and I have 3 rebuilt injectors for 92 sell them buy the peace I got them on ebay

    you can use any flex plate but the 400 sbc or 454 big block but there is 2 of them one is 153 teeth and he other one is 168 teeth to match your starter

    probley have to make cab mounts in the back the only style of bed would be a flat bed

    check how wide you front tires are outside to outside i bet it will be to wide for your front fenders

    I called a Detroit diesel shop today he is looking into it he thinks it is a high block but the book he had was not old enough to make shure it is older then 1960 thanks

    I thought about that it is a pain to get all the panels line up also I think the older one are not as wide as the newer ones

    motor homes but they are so wide I do no of a couple guys that cut down a straight axle for a 1950 chevy pickups in the 3/4 they put in out of a p I will do move thinking about it and see what happens im putting a Detroit diesel in it

    if you could find a front axle with disk brakes then you will have better brakes I do know were you are coming from

    ok thanks the only other trouble are the steep gears are in it probley in the 5.00 or higher don't very good for the roads now days, a guy could switch out the rear end with a newer one but what would you do for the front
