    PTO revision?

Is there any "rule of thumb" as concerns the distance of the end of the PTO shaft to the end of the grooved shaft on the 8n? Do I need to cut the shaft so the PTO is just able to slip on or should I allow myself an inch or two so that I can easily slide the PTO on after hooking up the hinch...

I have a '52 Ford 8n and I want to run a Woods Finish Mower with the PTO...but the PTO on the mower is about two inches too long for me to hook-up. Can I cut the PTO shaft on the mower to fit or am I asking for trouble? Tired 8n

    Farmall 100 starter problem?

I have a 1955 Farmall 100 that use to run just fine. Lately it doesn't run at all because it won't start. I pull on the starter rod and it turns over exactly once around and then goes dead. It won't do anything after trying to start it again. I then take off the battery cables and clean them...

    8n woes Help!!

No grandsons yet. Maybe I could borrow one. The bottom of the housing seems to be "gooey" with grease/oil.. with the magnet I bring up lots of very tiny metal shavings mixed in the grease. my fear is the wrench gets (or already is) adhered to the flywheel and then it becomes a shooting gallery!
