Hey Jon, I saw on a post in May, that you are looking for a pair of side shields. I do have a pair. If you send me your phone number I can send pictures. The best part about this, is, I'm just down I-35 west of Des Moines a bit. So not too far from you. gobble Tom Hagen

I kow better, did'nt do better

Case Nutty 1660, I probably was not patient enough after applying air pressure to the fuel tank, to wait for something to happen at the third filter bleeder plug. As you say, a full tank to the top has always worked before, it was being stubborn this time. thanks for your help gobble

I kow better, did'nt do better

Case Nutty 1660; thank you for that bit of wisdon, I will say the tank was full clear up on the threads for the cap, between the air pressure and removing the plug in the final filter while cranking (which I beieve was the key),the magic happened. I appreciate all the wisdom you bring to us Case...

John Jocco, thank you for your responses. I still had some air in the system. I took an old inner tube and large hose clamp. Pressurized the fueltank, took the bleeder bolt out of the third filter up in front of valve covers, no fuel came out. Started the engine and then fuel was coming out...

    Case Tractor (1967) 830 Comfort King ...8 speed .....18.4 X 34 rear Rims/Tires Removal ???

I am not familiar with the 830's rims. Are they double bevel like the 400? only wider? My 411 has 13.6x38 and I just use the impact to loosen and remove the clamps. I do for safety's sake chain my engine hoist to the tire and rim so it does not fall on me. gobble

    Bucket truck help

SkipperII, thanks for the safety brief, always good of experienced people to remind the unexperienced what safety problems may lurk with a specific machine. With that said we that are operating "old iron" would never be allowed in the workplace. No backup alarms or lock outs. No seat switch...

    1969 Case 530. Catastrophic Damage?

So your saying the engine runs, but, the tractor won't move?? Previous owner did something very bad with the tractor to CAUSE IT not to go!! Had me very confused for a moment. If the engine won't go...maybe he put gasoline into a diesel engine, that would be very bad Sorry I can't help. gobble
