    Hydraulic Issues on 4520

Um Thanks, but I guess I should clarify our 4520 is the 1970 , 125hp version, and it's main loader task will be to push up and pack down our feed stack

    Hydraulic Issues on 4520

Thanks for the insights so far.....The loader is a 720, and yes, it has it's own joystick. The two loader hoses are plugged into one of the tractor's remotes and we pull back on it's lever on the side console and hold it in place with a bungee cord. We did just place this loader on the tractor...

    Hydraulic Issues on 4520

The loader is powered by one of the tractor's remotes, the one I mentioned has been recently rebuilt. We know the other remote is worn and has issues; It leaks out the backside of one of its outlets pretty good now and then but its been this way for at least 5 years.....Just for the heck of it...

    Hydraulic Issues on 4520

We have a 4520 with syncro-range transmission. The hydraulics started to chatter. I've been reading through some old posts here and it seems to be a common affliction that could have multiple causes. I'm hoping to post the exact symptoms and everything we have done so far and maybe someone on...

    Early JD 4020D Nippon-Denso starter #'s

We have a early model, 1965, 4020 Diesel. It was converted along time ago to a regular 12V system with alternator. We had the starter replaced some years back and now it needs rebuilding/replacing again. The JD dealer said it was a Nippon-Denso. But, when we took it off today, there are no I.D...

Looking for Moline UB governor rod/linkage

Thanks for the replies, Motech Engineering may have one for me, I need to send them more info..... Yes, I noticed the UB's are different from a older U; they have a little block on the governor arm and a threaded rod going into it, so you can make adjustments without bending. That's the set-up...

Looking for Moline UB governor rod/linkage

I have a model UB. I've been looking for the rod that connects the governor to the carburetor. I believe one off a a older U would work as well. Would anyone here happen to have one or know where to look? I really didn't think such a simple little part could be this elusive, but I've called...

    Value of Case L

This is my Uncle"s 1931 Case L. I will probably be selling it for him on Ebay by the end of next week. What"s the market value for these now? The tractor has had a somewhat pampered life. My Uncle bought it from the orginal owner. It was bought on full steel and its 1st job was to power a saw...

38 zts timing update - Magneto issues?

I've noticed my Magneto, a Fairbanks k4b, spins over hard at times, it seems to randomly "catch" or lock up and you really need to put some elbow grease to it to get it to spin again. When its mounted on the tractor, I noticed the rotor would stop moving off and on while I was still cranking the...

    38 zts timing questions

I bought a 1938 ZTS from a widow several years ago, It had sat for years and I could not get it to run. I discovered the mag was dead so I replaced it with a rebuilt one. I also put in new plugs and new carb. The most I could get the tractor to do , after radomly trying different positions with...
