MF 165D Tachometer Cable Question
I'm having the same trouble but mine has a short rod that goes into engine square hole and then cable goes into the rod. Can't seem to find the right cable for mine either- twilson864

MF165 tachometer cable
I have older mf165 not sure of exact year and the tach cable broke, I have ordered two different cables to try and find the right one. Anyways the tach cable connects straight to the back of the block with a short rod that goes into the engine and sticks out of the housing some (7/8 male thread...- twilson864
