    49 LA Case

    I normally pull them housing and all, that way you can replace that gasket. As far as how hard it is to pull out, it will go easy after the first 1 1/4" or so. Once the inner race gets completely over the splines, it will be free. The splines are smaller in diameter than where the bearing rides.

    Great Uncle died in WWII over the Pacific, his plane and body was never recovered. Several other family members have fought in every war the US has been involved in, but Tom was the only one to not come home.

    Yep, line nut socket. They are super useful on Caterpillar 3400 series mechanical fuel engines.

    I had the rock shaft housing off, and I did pay attention to the location of the cam and Follower. There is a chance I guess I either didnt place it correctly, or it fell out of place in the process. I did follow the steps in that book. I will probably have to take it back off to check it.

    After nearing the end of the restoration on the 4320, all works well besides the rockshaft. I went through the entire tractor from front to back, every bolt removed, and component was re built. Pressures are set on the hydraulic system, and I checked the pump flow as well, and all meet the specs...

    We got about .5 of sleet then around 4 of snow. Its beginning to let up, so by Friday it will be gone.

    Its been over 90 days for us with no moisture in Jack Co. Tx. My wheat looks terrible. Its been spitting ran and sleet for a few hours now, and just started snowing.

    Heat Forming CPVC

    I have formed it several times by heating. You can do it with an electric heat gun, or the torch. Just keep the flame moving and dont touch it to the pvc. You can actually get a blanket made to heat it for bending, and also a little propane furnace. Im your case, I do as you planned.

    Service work quality is terrible on all fronts, tractors, semis, cars,appliances, all of it. I didnt do hardly any mechanic work for the public between 2009 and 2018.     I have gotten build cards from JI Case and know where to do that, so I suppose Deere has a source for hat as well? If so, can someone point me in that direction?

    Motor Oil Shortage

    I dont think so, yesterday I visited with my rep from Mobil, and he said he could get me 1300 Super way more often than the Syn. 1300 Xtreme I normally run. He also me too es one of the grease plants up in the NE burned, and they produced 30% or so of all the grease in the US.
