    Had carb rebuilt for my 44 B, put it back on yesterday and now she won"t hit on #2. Checked spark plugs and they were good and hot. She"ll start and just putt away on #1... Here"s the odd thing - I was playing with the adjustment needles on the carb, and I could open the idle needle...

    Which side of the crank are the splines bad? I would guess well over $1k for a new crank and main bearings (plus you have to have the bearing machined...) plus a new drive disc and/or flywheel if they"re torn up pretty bad... could get pricey...

    Looking at a 720 ES start. clam shell fenders, NF with roll-o-matic, 3-point, fairly straight tin, paint is 'okay'. ~75% tread on rears. power steering which has a 'little' leak... what do you think is reasonable to offer? (location is in OH)

    Considering buying a 3010D or 3020D. I"ve heard old timers say the 3010"s and 4010"s had a lot more problems than the 3020"s and 4020"s... is there any truth to this? What are some common problems to look for on a 3010D? Thanks!

    F4 Magneto magnet

    bought an old F4 mag off a parted out F20. Trying to get her to spark. I think the magnet lost a lot of it's 'magnetism'. Any easy way to recharge these puppies? Thanks!
