3 questions... response to any would be appreciated!

1- does anyone know where I"d be able to find new inerds to a JD 70 gas governor?

2- if someone had welded the flywheel to the crankshaft, should I count on just scrapping it and buying a new crank and flywheel?

3- what would you guys pay for a gas 70 (looks nice) with a governor problem along with the flywheel being welded to the crank...

Thanks!

Ver...sadly, this one is worth more for parts than to fix. Assume you would have to replace the flywheel and crankshaft, plus put in new main and rod bearings. Just did a similar project on a 70 diesel. Main brgs. were 412 dollars, rod bearings 144 dollars, machine work (size outer mains,etc.)200 dollars and gasket set 125 dollars. 900 dollars and I had a used crankshaft and flywheel. Plus, it's a big project. I wouldn't buy it with the intention of fixing it. Too many runners out there at reasonable prices.
