    I have a early model John Deere 3010 and when I raise the 3 point hitch it is a real jerky and has loud screech.... I have change the fluid and the hydraulic filter and cleaned the hyd screen. Please tell me I dont have to replaced the main hydraulic pump. Vince 509 480 8412

    Thank so much....I connected the way you stated and it works well. One more question....what should I do with the Belly pump connections? Can they be used in conjunction with the live hydraulic system? Or should I just cap them off?

    I changed the filter and added hyd fluid to the full mark. The hitch only works when I rev it up to 1200RPM. The steering doesnt work very well .... What now?
