So bad that I have to shoot a small amount of starting fluid into the air cleaner to get it going. Once it starts and runs for a few minutes I can turn it off and on all day without any problems...

    Hi: I have a 134CI engine from a 600 series tractor, A few years ago we removed the engine to do a rebuild. I took it to be bored and the machinist said it was too far gone. Shouldn"t there be sleeves in this engine? It did not look to me to that the piston had worn through a sleeve or anything...

    The tractor is a 3 cyl diesel. I am not sure about the "Draft" as I have never tried to use it nor would I know how. I replaced the oil about a year ago and I have only had the tractor out 2 or 3 hours since so I am assuming the oil is OK

    Hello: The hydraulics on my 3 point hitch have been sporadic lately. It pretty much comes up when it wants. Also there is no middle ground either it is all up or all down. Can someone give me some pointers on how to fix this?

    Yes, But my 600 series had the same bracket so I was assuming it was a fairly universal part. I could make something that will work, But there is nothing like an original part in my book.

    Hello All, I am in need of the little square washer that has an indentation to go around the 3/8 rod to support the power steering reservoir. Does anyone have one lying around that they are willing to part with?

    Steering cylinder for 4000 industrial

    Does anyone have experience with the steering cylinder on a 4000 industrial tractor? This one has the valve mounted on the cylinder and is actuated by the steering mechanism. I need to know how far the valve needs to move as it seems like it only moves like 1/16 either way.

    4000 power steering problems

    OK I fixed the water in tranny problem, this one has been bugging me for a while. I have the power steering cylinder that mounts under the crank pulley. It has a crazy set of levers to move the valve back and fourth as you steer. I cannot seem to get it to work? I checked the pump this morning...
