    860 Conversion to 12 volt

    I have a new battery in my 860 but it turns over so slow. My 960 has been converted.On the 960 I just touch the starter and it is running. Is there something I need to do to make the 860 start better on 6 volts or should I convert to 12?If I convert to 12 how do I handle the lights?

    Flasher problem

    My neighbor has a hay merger. When he hooks it to a 7930 or a 4640 the flashers work on the merger. However, if he hooks to a 7330 he gets a code and the flashers don't work. What could cause this problem and how can it be fixed?

    That is what I was thinking. I am going to take a wheel off my 860 which has 600-16 tires and see how it works.

    Front Tires Rubbing

    I had posted earlier about the front tires rubbing on the pedestal on my Ford 960 . I jacked up the front and shook each wheel. The bearings seem to be good. The tires rub when the front wheels are turned. What would cause that?

    PTO Engaging Problem

    I was going to use the PTO on my 860 but it couldn't engage. I shut off the tractor and engaged the PTO and then started the tractor. The PTO worked fine. What is my problem and how do I fix it?

    Fron Tires Rubbing

    I had noticed a squesaking sound when I am turning the front wheels on my Ford 960. I finally took time to check it out. The cause is the tires are rubbing on the pedestal. The tires are 6.50-16. Are they too wide or do I have another problem?
