    IMT 577

How much force have you put on the arms to try and get them to drop. I bought a JD 6300 several years ago and had the same problem, finally pushed down on the arms with the loader on another tractor, with the lever in the lower position. There was a small bang, the arms went down, and haven't...

    2015 5055e turn up horsepower

It appears to be the same engine up to the 5075E, so it should be possible, the question is if everything behind the engine will stand the increased power. Not unusual to use the same engine in different tractors with different pump settings and injectors, but often the transmission and rear end...

    John Deere16a flair chooper

It's part # E16774, dimensions listed as "Effective Length: 2255.52 mm, Width: 22.35 mm, Thickness: 13.46 mm" alternates listed as either C84 or C86. I think I just went to Mother Deere when I replaced mine. It must be used on a lot of other equipment since my dealer shows one in stock, and they...

    JD 146 Loader Cylinder Seals

Before you replace the seals again, have you checked on the cost of replacing the cylinder. I realize it's a different brand and function, but I recently had one of the steering cylinders on my NH T6050 start leaking, new seal kit $200, replacement ball joints on each end, $50 ea, so $300 total...

    Frost-free hydrants

I've done it a couple of times, the only problem that I have had is getting the head off. The head is wound on tight at the factory with some kind of pipe dope that sets up like concrete. My solution is to cut a couple of slots in the head where it threads onto the riser pipe with a disk grinder...

    FB hack revisited

The only problem is that if the cow kicks the milker off, the engine looses vacuum and quits.

Farmall Super C - Adding a Remote Hydraulic Connection

I don't remember much about it, the tractor has been gone for close to 50 years, but Dad had a C with a loader. The dealer had cut the pressure line to the touch control, routed it to the loader valve and run the return line back to the touch control line. May not have been right, but it worked.

    Brake line repair

If you're in a salt area, consider going to Cu-Ni (Copper Nickel) for the replacement lines. It will outlast the rest of the truck

    removing a broken bolt

One other suggestion, get a left hand twist drill and use it to drill it out (with the drill in reverse} If you are lucky, the drill will catch and screw the bolt right out.

    Identify New Holland Baler

It's been 50 plus years, so take that into consideration, but if you get this baler, stop at the local hardware store on the way home and get a handful of 3/16" stove bolts. They fasten the wadboard to the drive chain and break if you try to feed the hay in to fast. If you are asking "What is a...

    Galvanized Pipe Connector

Two possibilities, after cutting the pipe off #1 find a good welder/boilermaker. I've worked with some who could weld a fitting on to those pipes #2 find a good sprinkler fitter, they will know the right Victaulic fitting to solve your problem. I'm not sure about code if burying the Victaulic...

    Will this work

Have you looked at a heat pump water heater? It won't solve your waiting problem, but it will save money heating the water.

    Bale Bed Wagon

We have a machine that "sort of" does what you want, it self loads the first bale and carries a second bale on the back. Unrolls the first bale over the side and then you load the second bale into the unroll location. Google "tubeline chainless bale feeder" There are other manufacturers out...
