MF 65 ... Where to Start?

Mike, Sounds like both of yours tires went flat and the rims set down in the mud like one of mine did. The calcium solution on the inside really does a number of the rims too. Yeah they can be a pain. I recommend jacking the tractor up and putting it on blocks/jack-stands and taking the...

MF 65 ... Where to Start?

It looks like you have the same style rims that I have. I just finished replacing the rim and tire on one of mine and I am happy to share what I learned. Looking at that picture that rim looks in way better shape than the one I had. I have only seen holes drilled into the rails...

MF 65 ... Where to Start?

Thanks! Yeah the more I learn about tractors the more I feel like it is worth it to repair an old one instead of getting a new one. Congrats! I bet that feels good to have it running again.

    MF 65 Governor question

I have never done that job before but I did watch Bundy Bear on YouTube do it for a Ferguson Tractor. I have noticed a lot of similarities between the Ferguson tractors and the MF 35 & MF 65 so that might be a good video to watch to give you some ideas. I have a 1958 MF 65 so I would...

    Massey Ferguson 101 loader

My hoses are totally shot. Some are in 2 pieces so I am planning to replace them all. If you have the P/N for the valve you used that would be great. Then I can swap all the parts at the same time. Thanks

    MF 202 wheel weights

I have a 1958 MF-65 with a Davis 102 loader on it. The tires are ballasted but there are no wheel weights. The rear spin out wheels have the 4 holes for wheel weights. I am curious what the original wheel weights would look like and how much they weigh.

MF 65 ... Where to Start?

I am working to get my grandfather's 65 restored. He died when I was very little but I always had good memories about that tractor. It had been sitting out in a field for 15-20 years so some said it was not worth messing with, but I picked it up and started working on it about a year ago...

Davis 101 Loader - General Questions

Thanks for the info. I have a 102 loader on the 65 from my grandfather. I am going to have to replace all the hoses first, but the valves have a lot of slop. I am anticipating have to replace them as well.

    Massey Ferguson 101 loader

I have 102 on my 65. It was my grandfathers and I am working to restore it. There is a lot of slop in the valves so I bet they leak. Right now I need to replace hoses on the loader and get the tractor running again so working on the valves is down the road a bit.
